About

Michal Lieberman
Born in Raanana, Israel
Lives & works in Tel Aviv, Israel
Michal Lieberman studied at “Hatachana” School of Figurative Drawing and Painting, Tel Aviv. She is a Ceramic and Glass Department graduate, Bezalel, Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. Lieberman deals with the sense of touch as a painter and potter, using the eye and hand, connecting between painting from observation in oils and wheel work with porcelain. Her works indicate attention and create more space through useful materialistic vessels, light, and gravity. She creates temporary and timeless spaces by questioning home, belonging, and human relationships.
